What a fabulous week

Hello everyone,

I hope all is well with you and you are all having a good week.

Yesterday my gorgeous eldest Aimee had my first grandson weighing in at a massive 9 lb 8 ozs.

The little man was delivered 2 weeks early by C Section due to his size. All of my grandchildren have been over 9 lbs and Aimee is quite tiny. She has been advised not to have anymore children as it is too much for her body to deal with.

I'm at Aimee's for a few days to help out with Nellie and Dolly and do my nanny duties, being part of her support bubble of course.

Yesterday I had my first vaccination... the Oxford Astrazenica. I have to admit I was a little anxious due to all the recent negative publicity, but all is well 24 hrs post jab. My arm feels a bit tender and heavy, and then there is of course the banging headache that I woke up with. Regular paracetamol has done the trick and I'm so relieved it's done... and hopefully the start of getting out of this awful lock-down.
